Really tugging at my heart

Yesterday in relief society we had a great lesson, and it was taught by the perfect person...I thought. It was on death and the lady who taught had a stillborn baby 27 years ago, so I really related to her. The lesson really touched me and she made an extra effort to touch on stillbirth and the passing of infants. Anwyay, she gave us this awsome poem written by this awesome man...Gordon B Hinkley. I just love him.

What is this thing called death,
This quiet passing in the night?
'Tis not the end, but genesis
Of better worlds and greater light.

O God, touch Thou my aching heart,
And calm my troubled, haunting fears.
Let hope and faith, tanscendent, pure,
Give strength and peace beyond my tears..

There is not death, but only change
With recompense for victory won,
The gift of Him who loved all men,
The Son of God, the Holy One.
-Gordon B. Hinkley

It sounds like a great lesson. I wish I would have been there...but I was home with sick kids!
