So, as some of you know, I am doing free newborn sessions free of charge to get some practice in and to build a newborn portfolio so that I can apply to be a Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep photographer. I have had a few people contact me and I am so thankful for that. I was watching the recruiting video for NILMDTS and it had the best quote ever in it.
You make a living by what you get...
.....You make a life by what you give. -Sir Winston Churchill
I am hoping that I will be able to be a part of this amazing organization. They really do so much for the families that they photograph. Having lost my baby Bryce, I know how important it is to have pictures. We did not know of NILMDTS when we lost him so we did the pics ourselves and with the help of the nurses and our family we got some pretty good ones and I am so thankful for that. Anyway, I just had to share my new life motto with you all. I just love that quote, and it will stay with me forever!
Everything I do...I do it for you!

Allison, I never commented on your last post and I apologize because you have been on my mind quite a bit lately. I am just so proud of you and admire you so much, your strength, your determination, your courage, and your compassion. You have taken a part of your life and shared it so openly with others and I know it must be extremely hard to do, but at the same time you are helping so many people, some you will probably never know you have helped. You set such an example for everyone else and how we should all strive to be. You remind me that there is something everyone could be doing to give of themselves if we look for a way. I am so extremely sorry for your loss and please let me know if there is anything I can ever do, even if it's just a phone call on a bad day! Thanks for being you, you endlessly amaze me!
I don't know if you remember me or not, but we went to HS together. I think I commented on your blog a long time ago,but I say your last few posts and I just think you are an amazing person. If you are doing pictures in December I would love for you to take pictures of my newborn.
I think angel day is perfect for your little angel.
I would love to add you to my blog and keep in touch.
I had two high risk babies and almost lost my first baby, who only weighed 2.6 at birth and was 9 weeks early, my heart always goes out to others who have been in somewhat the same situation.
I hope all is going well, and your kids are adorable.
