CHRISTmas miracle???

I saw this story online this morning and it has really touched my heart!
I have been saying a lot this year that Christmas is becoming too much about
presents and Santa than what we should be focusing on...which is Christ.
Isn't this a gorgeous building that we had to meet in. This building has been around for
us to worship in for about 130 years....

The tabernacle caught fire last week as most of you have probably heard. So
sad! It was left looking like this...

this picture really tugs at my heart. :(

Among all the rubble and ashes they found this....

Amazing that everything around this was burned terribly....but one thing in the
building that survived was a small section of this painting, Christ at the Second Coming. Everything but Christ himself was burnt.

Think what you want....but I believe that
this is a message...we need to teach our kids more
about what Christmas is really about. What a great time
of year this is that we get to keep him so close to
us in our hearts and we are letting it slip. so here is a challenge
...I am taking this myself as I am giving it to you....Make
it a new tradition if it isn't already to
tell your kids the story of the birth of Christ
and instill this message into their hearts that they might
carry it on with them when they are grown and have kids
of their own. I hope everyone has a very
Merry Christmas
and I hope everyone can carry Christ with them in their hearts.
