Projects around the house...

Since my last DI trip there have been a few changes around
the house...I just thought I would share them....First off...
I bought this light a while back and
it was originally supposed to go in my
dining room....but I'm kinda glad that my husband
drug his feet cause I got a better one for the
dining room and this one looks perfect here...

We hung it in the entry way above the door. I didn't take before pics of it, but it was white and had these ugly fixtures over each light. I like my rendition better.

Next...The BETTER light....
This is the one I posted last post that I found my
last trip to the DI....it looks nice in the dining room!

Like I said....I'm so glad I waited....although....this
light was a PAIN in the YOU KNOW WHAT to hang!
Sore shoulders! Ouch!

should take one...so here it is mid prime...

TAAAADAAAAAA!!! Here is the finished product...

I can't decide if I want to paint the little handle
thing or leave it the way it is.....any suggestions are certainly welcome!

And isn't the fabric cute??? $1.50/yard at Wally World....don't judge!

So there you have it! I am so glad/proud that I
finished it! It is my first big piece I've done. YAY!
